Do folks think this is ok?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8709436678031089178.post-10478403813445089482015-09-21T11:51:22.249+01:002015-09-21T11:51:22.249+01:00I joined the council as i believed they actually c... I joined the council as i believed they actually cared about the city and the people who live in this beautiful city. if the coucillors have there way there will be no services left and the city will be a laughing stock of scotland.Raise the coucil tax, reduce hours but don't let vulnerable people suffer due to corporate pressure. we all need to stand together for the future of the cityAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8709436678031089178.post-72072369903518909992015-09-19T11:11:51.206+01:002015-09-19T11:11:51.206+01:00I see many areas of efficiency and modernisation w...I see many areas of efficiency and modernisation within council services, we should ensure the end result provides for the people of the city, not just savings. It is a very limited objective to save money and is not the reason for public services, we all should hold leaders to account or maybe they should be the first to go.stephenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15878786844099666595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8709436678031089178.post-14135772873645747142015-09-18T20:45:56.346+01:002015-09-18T20:45:56.346+01:00It is quite scary what is happening. If vulnerable services go out of house who shall lead and who shall follow. Is it, that we are now in a position where these values don't count any more as long as statutory obligation is met at the lowest cost possible. Everyone understands the need to make savings, cut waste, improve efficiency, but do we have to throw out the baby as well as the bathwater.
